Wednesday walkers is a group of like-minded chaps who walk the footpaths, coastal paths, fells, canal towpaths and country parks in our picturesque and diverse Lancashire countryside. Coffee to start, packed lunch on the walk and of course a pint to finish. The conversation flows easily with jokes, anecdotes and stories from our lives. The banter is given and received in equal measures. We have been extremely saddened to have recently lost two of our regular walkers. Clive and Terry will be greatly missed. Clive’s stories of his days in Chadderton, his love of sport, his family, his easy style and of course the twinkle in the eye before delivering the punchline will remain with us on our future walks. It has been a pleasure to know and share time with Clive. God bless from all at WW.
